Yuletide is upon us, and a scotch ale with spice has got me extra nice. This brewery is one where every drink is a sink in the deliciousness department. It truly is surprising when the styles of beer are less than my usual desirables, but they turn out to be crushables. Even the richer drinks felt like I could handle a pitcher. The lighter ones, shone brighter than suns. Each sip made my mouth drip with the anticipation of more gustatory pleasure. Then the location, a Euro theme, it mixes well with the Cask high beam. Soon...very soon the beer will flow with the near perfection of its created intention. Did I forget to mention something that rhymes with gustatory? Well it's a long story. Let's meet at the Royal Docks, and I promise to royally knock your socks off with the tale. Cheers and thank you for your craft!
Oh, how fabulous! I had been meaning to come here for awhile. It was a quiet night and we arrived late and sat outside. The kids had ice cream and we had some stuffed jalapeños. We had just eaten dinner, so we weren't starved. Also had two old fashioned, which were above average, but not the best I've ever tried. I like the quick and efficient service and ordering system at the counter. Can't wait to come back and actually try some of the beers here!
The food there was excellent, I thought, we kind of picked the place by random, but we're pleased as what we experienced their. The staff was very helpful very friendly and they definitely had some good beers. We will be going back when we are in the area again.
We were referred by the owner of Lost Trail Winery about this place. We haven't been to a brewery in the area previously. We stopped here and another brewery on this day. Stopped and selected 6 beers to sample. Each of the beers were refreshing and good. I was happy to have the opportunity to try the beer. I took a 4 pack of the west coast IPA home. They had another beer that tasted so darn good called the Savoir Faire which was so damn good. It had raspberry and blackberry sweetness with chocolaty malt. Unbelievable but wasn't available to take home. I highly recommend checking this place if you are near the brewery.
First stop of our beer bus trip. This place is warm and inviting. Staff opened a couple hours early for our group. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Great craft small batch beers. My faves were the Curiosity IPA. Crisp but not too bitter and the Staycation Sunset. They have a lot of tasty brews and always some seasonal specials. The decor is eclectic. I love the "Loo" bathroom sign and the phone booth. Several locations for this brewery. Try them out.
